Job Summary
Breaking the Cycle, a residential treatment facility for women located in Millinocket, Maine is hiring a Full-Time Recovery Technician to work directly with our residents in meeting their treatment goals.
We are seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team. This role involves working closely with individuals facing various challenges, providing guidance and support while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Duties
- Provide supervision and support to clients in a behavioral health setting.
- Assist the Program Director with implementing the daily schedule for the residents of Breaking the Cycle.
- Utilize conflict management skills to resolve issues and promote a positive environment.
- Document the daily progress of residents.
- Assist the residents with making telephone calls and keeping appointments with their providers.
- Collaborate with other staff in providing service delivery to the residents.
- Establish relationships which empower the residents utilizing a strengths-based model of communication.
- Assist the House Manager with general upkeep and organization of the House
- Promote a positive, uplifting, environment for the residents and other staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with Substance Use Disorder (SUD), or a strong desire to learn
- Basic computer skills
- Drivers license preferred but not required.
