Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the College and Career Success Team's ongoing programs and events (greeting students, answering/routing phone calls, organizing supplies, etc.)
- Using call logs to call students and families directly and track participation
- Support students and families by sharing information
- Enter information into a database and prepare reports
- Coordinate and complete clerical tasks (word processing, organizing materials, printing name badges, communicating with program staff, etc.)
- Communicate well verbally and in writing with staff, parents, students, and partner schools
- Solve routine problems
- Support special projects/events as needed
- Assist in collecting information to prepare and plan for upcoming school year
- Facilitate campus tours and/or recruit students to support HS campus tours
- Work under the direction and of supervision of the CCST Designated Supervisor and attend weekly check-in meetings
- Ability to work with and motivate a broad spectrum of people (ethnic, socioeconomic, educational, professional, and generational); ability to advocate effectively while maintaining positive working relationships
- Ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team effort and be very self-directed and independent with minimal supervision
- Willingness and ability to take initiative as appropriate

- June 2 - August 1 - for 30 hours a week at the Breakthrough Central Texas Office
- Office is located at 3500 East 5th Street, Suite 375, Austin, TX 78702
- Schedule to be determined once hired
- Work is mostly in-person reporting with hybrid option at supervisor’s discretion
- $3,500 paid over three (3) installments
- Education Award - $1,565 upon completion of service term and hours
