Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Genetic Counselor to join our dynamic team. This role combines expertise in genetic counseling, education, and customer outreach to drive the adoption of our Virtual Geneticist™ platform. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of genetic counseling, outstanding communication skills, and a passion for advancing rare disease diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities
- Master and apply our proprietary Virtual Geneticist™ platform for variant curation and rare disease diagnosis.
- Conduct online demonstrations and educational sessions on the platform and Clinical Interpretation Services.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective customers, including genetic counselors, researchers, and medical geneticists.
- Actively participate in team meetings and represent the company at scientific conferences.
- Provide genetic counseling services to physicians and patients as needed.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years working in the field of genetic counseling.
- Professional Memberships: Current or prior membership in professional organizations such as the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) or American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC).
- Strong expertise in variant curation and rare disease diagnostics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
