Overview
Breakthrough MEP is seeking an experienced Plumbing Superintendent to join our team of energetic and dedicated professionals.
About the Role
As a Plumbing Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of multifamily construction projects. You will travel to sites in SWFL and are responsible for overseeing plumbing-related activities on-site, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, budgets, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Supervise employees and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules, coordinate material deliveries, and create material take-off worksheets.
- Quality Control: Monitor work performance and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols. Conduct regular safety meetings.
- Coordination: Collaborate with Project Managers, other trades, and internal departments
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve potential issues, such as schedule delays or work interferences.
- Change Orders: Review drawings to identify scope gaps and assist in submitting change orders.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Journeyman Plumbing License with 15 years of multifamily construction experience
OR
Master Plumbing License with 10 years of multifamily construction experience
Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and submittals
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and industry best practices
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet climates depending on the weather
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
