Role Description
This is a Summer on-site role for an Instructional Coach located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Instructional Coach will be responsible for providing guidance and support to teaching fellows, facilitating professional development sessions, and assisting in curriculum implementation. Additional responsibilities include observing and providing feedback on classroom instruction, developing instructional resources, and ensuring adherence to educational standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in curriculum planning, lesson development, and educational resource creation
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication, observational, and feedback skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Knowledge of educational standards and best practices
- Passion for empowering underserved students and commitment to educational equity
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
- Experience in 6-12 education, preferably in middle or high school settings
