Our Agency
We support and provide an array of services to individuals with a dual diagnosis (substance use and mental health diagnosis) and we are seeking confident Certified Peer Specialists who desire to help their fellow peers!
Position Description
This is a position for a motivated Certified Peer Specialist who exudes high, positive energy and who can connect with Peers on a deeper level, promoting an array of health and wellness skills for their Mind, Body, & Spirit.
We are seeking to fill several Certified Peer Specialist contractor positions (CPS-MH, CPS-AD, CPS-WH). Within our organization, the Certified Peer Specialist is someone who exudes positive energy, someone who demonstrates the importance of providing an unconditional and non-judgmental perspective, and someone who understands the importance and the value of self-help and personal empowerment to maintain and promote recovery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Peer Specialist Mental Health, Addiction, or Whole Health services to peers according to applicable credential(s), policies, and standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, submitted BIRP notes within 48 hours, signed within 7 days.
~ Whenever applicable ~
- Participate in team meetings, training activities, workshops, and inter-agency conferences, etc.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and counselors to coordinate and plan treatment
Qualifications:
You have completed applicable training to have earned one of the CPS-MH, CPS-AD, CPS-WH credentials.
