What are the responsibilities and job description for the Level 1 EIDBI Provider position at Breakthrough Therapy Center?
Job Summary:
A Level 1 ABA Provider is responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy sessions with clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. This role involves following individualized treatment plans, collecting data on client progress, and working under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Key Responsibilities:Direct Client Support:
- Implement ABA-based interventions according to individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA.
- Provide 1:1 therapy sessions focused on skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and daily living skills.
- Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage appropriate behaviors.
- Assist clients in developing communication, social, and adaptive skills.
- Implement behavior management strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors.
Data Collection & Reporting:
- Record accurate and detailed session notes on client progress and behaviors.
- Collect and input data into ABA software or client files as required.
- Report client progress, challenges, and concerns to the BCBA.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Maintain professional and positive communication with clients, families, and team members.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills.
- Follow ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure a safe and structured therapy environment.
- Follow emergency and crisis intervention procedures as needed.
- Adhere to company policies, state regulations, and BACB guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
- Experience working with children, especially those with special needs, is a plus.
- Ability to follow treatment plans and accept feedback from supervisors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage client behaviors.
- Must pass background checks
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
