Job Overview
The role of the Maintenance Technician is critical to ensuring the reliable operation of our conveyor system. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the operation of our conveyor system and all other mechanical items on our property.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance: Identify issues with equipment and coordinate and perform necessary maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
- System Troubleshooting: Apply knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including conveyors, AS/RS systems, cranes, variable frequency drives, gearboxes, and belts.
- Electrical System Maintenance: Complete preventative maintenance requirements on conveyors, programmable controllers, transformers, and machinery wiring, adhering to electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.
- General Building Maintenance: Coordinate and/or perform general building maintenance tasks, including plumbing, painting, lighting, and other building maintenance to ensure buildings are maintained in working order.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in extreme heat and around moving mechanical parts; comfortable working in high or precarious places.
