Business Manager Role
The Business Manager serves as the primary point of contact for their assigned suppliers in the market. They drive and master five core competencies: business planning, performance evaluation, product and inventory management, pricing and revenue management, and demand planning/forecasting.
This role involves working with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement business plans that align with established business rules. The Business Manager must have strong supplier management skills, as well as proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
Key Responsibilities:
• Embrace and develop behaviors consistent with our Trade Development mission
• Establish a business planning cadence with assigned suppliers
• Develop monthly execution/business plans for assigned suppliers
• Execute business planning cadences with identified sales leads
• Provide timely sales information documents to emphasize brand building activities
• Identify local market and investment opportunities by leveraging key sales drivers
• Develop and negotiate incentives and goals for suppliers
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Advanced PC skills using MS Office and other computer programs
• Strong business planning and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of trade development fundamentals
• Previous management experience and relevant cross-functional experience
• Proficient in analysis of syndicated consumer data
