Job Description
The Surgical Assistant plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons during procedures. Key responsibilities include performing preoperative and postoperative duties, verifying patient identity and operative sites, discussing surgical procedures with surgeons, and maintaining aseptic technique throughout procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- BLS certification required or ability to complete within 1 month of hire
- At least one year of related experience preferred
- DAANCE certification preferred
- Licensed dental assistant preferred
- Radiology certification preferred
