Job Description: We are a local, growing respiratory DME (Durable Medical Equipment) office seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as aRespiratory Therapy Support tech. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service to our patients. Key Responsibilities:
· Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
· Assist with phones and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
· Set up patients on CPAP equipment and provide basic instruction
· Monitor and track CPAP compliance for patients, ensuring proper follow-up
· Troubleshoot oxygen-related calls and assist with resolving issues
· Perform general office duties, data entry, and maintaining patient records
· Coordinate with respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications:
· Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred but not required
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Ability to multitask and handle various office duties efficiently
· Knowledge of respiratory equipment, including CPAP and oxygen therapy, is a plus but not required (training will be provided)
· Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
· Experience with Brightree computer program helpful
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
