The Center Supervisor works primarily at one center to supervise, coordinate, and conduct programs, inspecting and supervising work and activities inside and outside the building and grounds, with responsibility for administration and administration of the recreation center. The individual must schedule and monitor staff, make decisions based on established policies and procedures, complete paperwork and administrative work. There is frequent interaction with staff and the general public, including people of all ages.Center Supervisor A – for centers that are open all day with special facilities inside such as a fitness center, golf course, etc.Center Supervisor B – for centers that are open half days and do not have special facilities.This is an administrative position which duties include, but are not limited to: Promote, coordinate and supervise center programs;Administering operation of the center according to established policies and procedures, scheduling staff and volunteers, maintaining supplies and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance of property, preventing problems or reporting problems to supervisor;Promoting center activities and maintaining positive public relations;Supervising and assisting with special events and group activities on site or as assigned;Keeping financial records and completing weekly / monthly reports.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
High school diploma or equivalent; Basic mathematical skills; Strong interpersonal skills, ability to instruct, direct and relate with public in a positive manner; Ability to schedule, administer, evaluate effective recreation programs. General knowledge and ability to complete activity reports;

Hours may vary to meet each community's needs.
