The Fitness Attendant works primarily at one center to help coordinate, conduct programs, and inspect equipment. The individual must monitor the use of equipment, make decisions based on established policies and procedures, ability to demonstrate proper use of the fitness equipment, complete paperwork, and perform administrative work. There is frequent interaction with staff and the general public, including people of all ages and abilities.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Education required: High School diploma or equivalent; Skills, Work Experience, Qualifications Knowledge of fitness equipment; knowledge of wellness and fitness programs; strong interpersonal skills, ability to instruct, direct and relate with the public in a positive manner; basic math skills; basic computer skills; background in Kinesiology or Exercise Science desired.Certification(s) Required: First Aid and CPR upon employment License(s) Required: Valid ID
