The Golf Course Greenskeeper works mainly outside, operating equipment and tools to maintain the golf course and grounds.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent License(s) Required: Valid LA driver's license Years Relevant Work Experience: One (1) year experience in construction, repair or maintenance work in outdoor or industrial setting. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Other: Knowledge of fertilizing & seeding greensKnowledge of safe procedures for handling fertilizers, pesticides & related chemicalsGood interpersonal skillsSkill in the operation of hand toolsAbility to operate golf course, landscape or industrial equipmentAbility to perform manual laborAbility to read and follow simple instructionsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public
