Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to oversee all aspects of our wholesale greenhouse operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and management, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Salary

This is a salaried position with a competitive pay range of $50,000 - $85,000 commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

The General Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of our wholesale greenhouse operation. This includes:

• Overseeing all aspects of annual crop culture and growing procedures.
• Executing cultural practices including fertilization, IPM, and PGR applications.
• Developing new techniques or methods for growing high-quality plant material.
• Maintaining clean and tidy work areas.
• Receiving and shipping plants, supplies, and hard goods.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• A strong background in horticulture or a related field.
• Management experience is preferred, along with a strong desire to learn.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of their arms and legs and moving their whole body, such as lifting, bending, reaching, walking, pushing, and pulling carts.
