Breda is looking for Pest Control Technicians, Sales Inspectors and Wildlife Technicians.
Position Summary: Provide exceptional service to Breda's residential or commercial pest control customers utilizing an Integrated Pest Management approach (IPM).
BREDA Pest Management is seeking an Inspection Sales position that includes the following:
- Inspect home for termites and provide a report of findings
- Inspect home for any pest or critter issue
- Upsell client to services not currently had
- All appointments are setup by our office staff
- No cold calling for leads
- Base salary is provided and commission is provided on all services that are upsold
- This position does include having to get into crawl space homes for inspections
- No pest control or termite experience needed for this position - we are willing and wanting to train
- Taking and passing a State required test for a Pest Control and Termite Control license.
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Leads are provided, no cold calling
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients
- Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
- Giving sales presentations to a homeowner or decision maker
- Understanding and promoting company services
- Making sure decision maker is financially capable of making payment
- Preparing and submitting sales contracts for services being offered.
- Visiting clients and potential clients homes or businesses to evaluate needs or promote products and services
- Answering client questions about products, prices and availability.
Essential Functions:
- Comply with company and label safety procedures
- Comply with product label, state and federal regulations, and company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Schedule and keep appointments with clients
- Interact and ask questions of clients to determine client concerns and existing conditions
- Perform thorough inspection and evaluation of client properties including interior, exterior, attics, and crawlspaces
- Properly identify insects, pest harborage areas, and conducive conditions
- Determine best course of service
- Explain to client the service procedures and answer questions
- Document service using handheld technology or complete accurate and legible service documents and provide to customer
- Sell additional services to existing and prospective clients
- Draw diagrams/graphs of treatment areas per company guidelines
- Collect service payments from clients
- Respond to service call backs as required by the client
- Report issues to manager as per company policy
- Operate company vehicle in compliance with company guidelines
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working order
- Wash and clean vehicle and ensure proper maintenance and repairs
- Attend and complete training and meetings as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Compliance with Drug-free Workplace Policy
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check upon offer of employment
- Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency required licensing/certification exams
- Able to pass internal technical exams
- Possess current Driver License in the state where you work, ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driving record consistent with company standards
- Present a professional appearance including wearing an approved Breda uniform
- Able to work a 40-hour (minimum) work week
Physical Demands:
- The work environment and physical demands described below is representative of those that an employee encounters while performing essential functions of this job.
- Constant mobility including walking, crawling, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting, looking, probing, climbing, pushing, pulling, balancing, stretching and standing for long periods
- Climbing into attics and crawling in crawlspaces
- Probing timbers
- Daily physical labor
- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Driving of automatic vehicle
Environmental Factors:
- Work both indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions
- May withstand extreme conditions such as heat in an attic in Summer or chill of crawlspace in Winter
- Exposure to vegetation, dust, dirt, insects and animal remains
- Some work in cramped spaces
