Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in design-build commercial HVAC or general construction (10 years) to win and lead HVAC projects. Reporting directly to the President / General Manager, this role requires a collaborative team player who is assertive, and results driven. The ideal candidate will manage multiple design-build projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple design-build commercial HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with engineers, estimators, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to maintain smooth project execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring seamless coordination of labor, materials, and equipment.
• Oversee design-build project development, including system modeling, prefabrication planning, and multi-trade coordination.
• Monitor project costs, negotiate contracts, and ensure financial performance meets company expectations.
• Ensure quality control by integrating engineering specifications, value engineering principles, and compliance with safety regulations!
• Addressing project challenges proactively and make informed decisions to keep projects on track.
• Provide regular updates to the General Manager on project progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 10 years in commercial HVAC or general construction project management, with experience in design-build projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, construction processes, and project management best practices.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Building Design Suite (AutoCAD/Revit) and BIM modeling is a plus.
• Leadership skills to manage teams effectively while fostering a collaborative and solution-oriented work environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and executives.
• Experience with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, OSHA 30, or relevant HVAC licenses/certifications.
