Job Summary
We are seeking a Secretary/Bookkeeper to join our team. This role maintains office operations and AP/AR bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer literacy skills, excellent time management abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The pay range listed is starting pay based upon experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office tasks including filing, data entry, and document preparation/updating.
- Provide customer support by assisting with answering phones and inquiries relating to accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Utilize Microsoft Office for document creation, spreadsheet management, and Google Calendar for calendar scheduling.
- Utilize QuickBooks Desktop for accounts payable and occasionally payroll.
- Utilize BMS Point of Sale for accounts receivable and daily sales reporting.
Qualifications
- Proficient in computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proven customer service experience, demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Previous experience and working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop is a must.
- Previous experience in a secretary or bookkeeping role is a must.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to multitask. This role works closely with the business manager and assists with other tasks as needed.
