Breef is seeking a full-stack Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic, fast growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building web-based systems that are at the core of the Breef Platform. You will work closely with the larger product engineering teams to implement Breef's product roadmap, ensuring Breef's technology drives best practices and innovation and shapes the marketing industry at large.
The ideal candidate understands and embraces the fast-paced nature of a startup and can translate complex technical concepts. They will drive innovation and act as an individual contributor, especially as we scale our engineering team. Most importantly, they understand how to build delightful customer experiences and prioritize balancing the customer’s experience with internal technical needs.
- Design, develop and maintain web applications using React and Python (Django framework)
- Own our engineering strategy, development standard, & technical decision making throughout new feature builds for both admin and user products.
- Implement new features and functionality to meet our business requirements
- Write clean, maintainable - and efficient code
- Support the product team in designing complex features
- Build high-value features and product offerings that drive growth and build Breef’s moat
- Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
- Stay current on emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, security, reliability and maintainability
- Create efficiency through clean code, pragmatic programming, and lean engineering.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality products, on time, utilizing Agile development methodologies
