- Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities
- Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding repairs
- Keep overhead crane systems operating by performing inspections, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, responding to repair calls
- Documents service and installation actions by completion of forms, reports and inspection checklists
- Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturing OSHA and ANSI standards
- Maintain low incident MVR and valid driver’s license
- Must be ok with some out-of-town work, up to 5% of the time. Per diem and hotel stay covered in the event of overnight stay. Other branches include:
- Indiana: Ft Wayne
- Ohio: Cincinnati and Columbus
- Kentucky: Louisville
- Must be able to work in elevated work platforms (Scissor lifts, Boom Lifts & Ladders)
- Experience working with voltages up to 24v, 120v, 230v, 480v,
- Experience in compliance with lockout/tagout procedures a plus
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have professional tools (sockets, ratchets, and end wrenches up to 1 ¼)
