Brelje & Race Consulting Engineers has an opportunity for a civil engineering technician to join our team in the planning, design, and construction administration of site development projects. This full-time position will be based in our office in Santa Rosa, California, and is available immediately.

What You'll Be Doing

As a highly talented and detail-oriented civil engineering professional early in your civil engineering career, you will have a strong interest – and ideally some experience – in planning and design engineering of site development-type projects, such as schools, wineries, and commercial and residential developments. Your responsibilities will include planning and design of civil site improvements, preparing hydrology / hydraulic calculations, design of stormwater LID features and ADA compliant facilities, preparing technical reports and technical memoranda, and providing construction administration. You will work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team, colleagues from other disciplines, and our clients.

B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Working proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software and Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Professional registration as a licensed Civil Engineer in California (or from another state with the ability to obtain California P.E. license within one year of hire)
