Summary
As a Human Resources Administrator specializing in Payroll, you will be integral to managing employee relations and benefits administration within our organization. Reporting to the HR Manager, your core responsibilities will include overseeing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and enhancing talent management strategies. Your expertise in HRIS and data analysis will support strategic planning initiatives.
Duties
- Payroll – Run hourly payroll weekly, ensure overtime and absences are approved, enter all garnishments, deductions, pay increases, and personnel changes accurately and timely. Process quarterly and yearly additional payrolls/ bonuses as required.
- Administrative – Ensure all hourly absences have a corresponding absence slip signed by supervisor and employee. Update employee attendance records and points daily according to handbook policy, keep HR manager informed when any employee reaches 3 points. Track pay increases, referral bonuses, vacation, and FMLA/STD leave.
- HR Support – Assist department with wellness program and tracking, recruiting and interviewing, training sessions, filing, audits, and reporting as needed.
- Assist Engineering, Operations, and Quality Departments – filing, recruiting and interview scheduling, setting up training, and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 3-5 years' experience in related field, prefer previous payroll experience
- Strong employee relations experience
- Proficiency in payroll systems and benefits administration - ADP experience desired
- Familiarity with FMLA and employment & labor law
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP and Oracle HCM
- Ability to analyze data and improve HR processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.55 per hour
