DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for complex financial modeling in Excel.
- Provide analysis for purposes of buy/sell side projects, valuation projects, and due diligence.
- Prepare company and industry research, forecasts, and analysis of industry and general economic trends.
- Research potential buyers for sell-side engagements and conducts outreach.
- Identify trends and analyze competitive environments to evaluate growth opportunities.
- Write reports for valuation and confidential information memorandums.
- Assist in supporting significant company growth initiatives.
- Work is both independent and collaborative in nature.
- Work performed in a highly effective team environment that is transparent, goal driven, and accountable with lots of flexibility and room for exercising creativity.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration required.
- One to three years’ recent, related experience in business analysis, valuations, transactional work.
- Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) or Accredited Business Valuator (ABV) attained or demonstrated commitment to achieve upon entering position.
- High proficiency in technical writing skills and communication skills.
- Demonstrates excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Strong Excel spreadsheet skills.
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility in work schedule and hours as project timing demands.
- Ability to work in transparent and goal driven environment.
