Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Drafter to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their career in drafting and design within a collaborative environment. The Entry Level Drafter will work closely with senior drafters and engineers to produce high-quality drawings and schematics that meet project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Welding and Fabrication:

• Prepare detailed drawings, blueprints, and plans based on given design concepts.
• Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD) to create digital drafts and technical illustrations.
• Develop both 2D and 3D models depending on project requirements.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with engineers and project managers.
• Incorporate revisions and feedback from project team members to improve draft accuracy.

Quality Control:

• Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Perform thorough checks for accuracy, dimensions, and consistency before submission.

Document Management:

• Maintain and organize all project files and drafts for easy retrieval and reference.
• Update drawings based on modifications or adjustments during the design phase or construction.

Project Support:

• Assist in preparing cost estimations and project schedules based on drawings and plans.
• Participate in project meetings to provide technical insights or clarifications on design-related issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diplomas or equivalent
• 1 year experience in drafting or technical drawing role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering, or Architecture
• More than 1 year experience in drafting or technical drawing role

Physical Requirements:

• Office based position that requires extensive periods of sitting and working at a computer.
• May involve working in a team or individually with occasional weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Drafting: 1 year (Preferred)
• AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Drafting, Engineering, Architecture certification (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Jackson, OH 45640: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
