What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at Brennan Behavior Group?
Brennan Behavior Group is seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans that help clients develop essential skills in communication, socialization, and daily living skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children and adolescents in a clinic setting
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA
- Collect and record data on client progress
- Assist with skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred)
- Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities, is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
