Role Description
This is a contract on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist located in Metairie, LA. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. Day-to-day tasks will include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy to individuals with speech and language difficulties. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals, maintaining records, and staying updated with the latest practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants
- Skills in Speech Therapy, Speech, and Dysphagia
- Expertise in diagnosing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with children with autism is a plus
