We are seeking a career-minded Scheduling Coordinator to work part-time hours with full-time benefits.

SKILL SET
Our Scheduling Coordinator is:
- EXPERIENCED – We prefer at least two years of recent experience as a scheduling coordinator. Prior experience in dental scheduling is ideal. Prior dental back office experience is a huge plus.
- TECH SAVVY – We use Dentrix for scheduling and practice management; Outlook for email communications; Doctible for text communications; and Google Sheets for managing practice information. We fax only when we have no other recourse. We do not maintain binders of paper.
- ORGANIZED – This role requires exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- PRO-ACTIVE & FORWARD-THINKING – This role requires the ability to anticipate future problems and build paths to solutions in the present.
THE JOB
- Keep the schedule full. Always.
- Schedule appointments in a way that ensures smooth office operations, while accounting for patients’ preferences and availability.
- Maintain notes in scheduled appointments that allow efficient rescheduling when necessary.
- Communicate with patients, the entire dental team, specialists' offices, external servicer providers, and vendors clearly, promptly, and via multiple platforms as necessary.
- Answer phones and send emails/texts with friendliness and enthusiasm, providing helpful information and addressing inquiries clearly and quickly.
- Greet patients in a warm, welcoming manner, making them feel comfortable and at ease.
- Maintain accurate patient records, update necessary information, and handle confidential data with discretion.
- Collaborate with the dental team to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times, ensuring a positive experience for all.
THE HOURS
- Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30am - 5:30pm
