Brenntag TA Team
- Work within and adhere to the safety practices established within the company.
- Meet or exceed production requirements based on information and/or equipment used in the course of work performance.
- Preventive maintenance of equipment used in the course of work performance.
- Maintaining accurate record keeping within the department.
- Review established production schedule to ensure requirements are being met.
- Product filling into drums and portable totes.
- Container preparation (labeling, stenciling, etc.)
- Equipment maintenance
- Product sampling and quality control in conjunction with Laboratory personnel.
- Maintain clean working environment.
- Loading/unloading of inbound/outbound tankers.
- Maintains assigned production area and assures that it is operated within operating procedures.
- Receive initial and annual hazardous waste management training.
- Perform universal waste management functions at site.
Education and Experience:
- Ability to maintain a good safety and attendance record.
- Thorough understanding of the importance of customer service and the ability to work cooperatively with other departments and personnel in meeting customer needs.
- Knowledge of forklift operation, with certification.
- Skills associated with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of D. O. T. regulations.
- Good math, bookkeeping, and organization skills.
- Computer skills sufficient to efficiently perform the job requirements.
- Ability to understand and comply with all company policies and procedures pertinent to the Acid Department.
- Ability to understand and comply with the responsibilities of the job as outlined in the Job description.
- Ability to understand and carry out process descriptions applicable to the job.
- Willingness to accept overtime (both scheduled and impromptu), to be subject to and available for call-in, and to work other shifts as needed to meet customer needs.
