Brenntag TA Team
Lot Management :
- Pre-allocate approved raw material lot numbers to production batches and track available inventory by status (allocated, available, tested, or untested) outside of BUS.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure raw materials meet testing and approval requirements before allocation.
- Collect raw material samples from offsite warehouse locations for testing purposes.
- Confirm the availability of raw materials for customer orders and communicate fulfillment feasibility to Customer Service Representatives (CSRs).
- Maintain a centralized batch management system to track raw material and batch allocation status (i.e. hold, rework, reprocessed, and partials).
- Format and enter relevant data into Bartender software, for the printing of Labels based on the proper Lot #’s.
- Print large Labels for Raw ID and for Finished Goods. Print small Avery Labels for make-to-stock inventory.
- Print shipping pallet labels for Customer Orders. Print stock pallet labels for make-to-stock inventory.
- Track raw material inventory levels and coordinate with the Production Planner to align inventory with production needs.
- Identify gaps in BUS functionality and recommend enhancements for future integration of lot management and batch allocation processes.
