Job Summary:

This specialized role is important in issue identification and escalation within the portals and problem solving.
Job Description:
- Process, post, and manage a high volume of invoices with extreme attention to detail via portal systems.
- Review & enter customer invoice data into portals, which is generated from Brenntag’s ERP system and check for accuracy
- Interact with customers, Brenntag sales team, Customer Service Representatives, and other personnel on a regular basis to
- Resolve problems/issues
- Obtain information regarding orders, invoices, billing & customer purchase orders
- Provide information relating to the status of portal invoices
- Set up and maintain new portals and new portal customers, including managing access to other Brenntag personnel based upon their function and responsibilities.
- Attend meetings related to new portal customers and present the proposals to management.
- Log metrics to identify and elevate areas of improvement as it relates to pricing accuracy.
- Understand and translate company policies and practices as it relates to the position, using a safety first mindset.
- Be aware of questionable inquiries/requests for possible suspicious/unsafe orders and report to supervisor immediately.
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Associate degree a plus
- 2 years internal or 4 years external customer service role
- Familiarity with working under a documented quality procedure/process system (ie. ISO quality system processes or similar)
- Distribution experience a plus
