The Project Coordinator is responsible for leading projects in support of the Distribution & Storage West Division, utilizing project management fundamentals, excellent communication and coordination internally and externally, from initial project kickoff through delivery.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
- Assist project managers with new project set-up, ensure information and resources are accurately recorded and provide regular progress updates, as appropriate.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather project requirements and documentation.
- Enter and maintain data with accuracy into the project management system, while ensuring it is current and in compliance with industry standards.
- Process sales order adjustments with accuracy and timeliness, and proactively contact internal teams and customers to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed records of sales order changes and ensure all adjustments are documented both with accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage warranty process from initial claim intake to resolution to include maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures and initiating follow up on outstanding cases.
- Communicate with customers for information and provide status of warranty claims.
- Coordinate with tech support and service teams to ensure resolution of warranty issues.
- Maintain documents, such as manufacturing master data books, quality documents and dossiers.
- Provide administrative and special projects support, as needed.
- A bachelor’s degree in business or project management is strongly preferred.
- A degree may be substituted with 5 years of work experience in project management.
- Ability to work in an office environment
- Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 8 hrs/day
- This position will require the ability to move around the production floor to address production issues relating to products and equipment
- Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs
- Occasional pushing, pulling and handling of materials
- Previous experience must include project support, heavy customer interaction and problem resolution
- Project management software experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Logical problem-solving skills are essential
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to quality and integrity
