articipates in the provision of quality meals and nutritional services to patients, staff and guests.
Essential Job Functions
- Prepares meals for patients, employees, medical staff, and visitors; prepares meals as outlined on the menu prepared by dietary supervisor.
- Effectively operates food preparation equipment to fry, boil, roast, bake, broil, mix and assemble food items
- Cleans work area as necessary or assigned; checks water temperature to assure compliance with health and safety standards; takes down and cleans serving line promptly after meals.
- Accepts and reconciles deliveries and puts away stock; promptly receives deliveries when notified of their arrival; is polite and helpful to delivery people; follows correct procedures when putting delivered items in their proper storage place; stores items in a timely manner; effectively monitors the use of supplies and notifies supervisor when supplies are limited.

Qualifications
- Education / Experience: Two year business degree or equivalent combined education and experience.
- Hours:Â As designated by the Dietary ManagerÂ
