What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Supervisor - Adult Sports position at Brentwood Parks & Recreation?
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary function of this position is to set up and take down equipment for league play, monitor adult sport leagues for any issues or concerns, and communicate with team captains. This position will also be responsible for collecting and maintaining rosters for each session, as well as filling out incident/accident forms.
POSITION DETAILS
- Hours: Monday/Wednesday: 5:30-10:30pm
- Starting Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
- Preferred Skills: Extensive knowledge of Adult Softball and working knowledge of Volleyball/Pickleball
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver a safe and excellent customer service experience to our residents and program participants.
- Enforce and adhere to existing policies and procedures, suggesting changes in current practices when necessary.
- Coordinate field/court set up and tear down at designated times at designated facilities.
- Collect, record and report game results to the Recreation Supervisor/Program Coordinator.
- Examine the condition of the fields/courts and take care of any obstructions that might be dangerous. Notify the officials and /or the Program Coordinator with any concerns.
- Communicate effectively with officials and the Recreation Supervisor/Program Coordinator .
- Officiate league games if scheduled official is unavailable and a replacement is not found in a timely manner (compensation varies)
- Administer first aid as needed. Contact EMS and complete an accident report as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Good knowledge of department rules and procedures.
- Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.
- Ability to make decisions in accordance with precedents and polices.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Must have a well-rounded knowledge of sport specific rules.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Adult CPR & First Aid Certification Preferred.
