Brentwood School, one of Gainesville's most trusted private schools, is looking for an experienced, nurturing Preschool assistant teacher to join our staff immediately.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with a class of Preschool students Monday - Friday 8:30a.m. - 4:45p.m..
- Assist the lead teachers as they plan, prepare and deliver a developmentally appropriate and creatively engaging grade level program.
- Provide active and engaging hands-on experiences as part of the curriculum.
- Assess and document each student’s progress and provide regular feedback to lead teacher.
Qualifications
- Associate's/Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a teacher in similar position preferred
- The ability to work positively and professionally with students, parents and faculty
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
