Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales / Front Desk Manager to join our dynamic retail team. As a Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet business needs.
- Ensure compliance with and completion of daily operational procedures within the department.
- Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with company policies, departmental procedures, and relevant industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current customers and accounts, including corporations, agencies, associations, and other organizations.
- Identify and pursue additional business or market opportunities to drive growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to boost performance during slower periods, including special promotions or advertising campaigns.
- Represent the organization at trade shows, networking events, and community gatherings to support sales efforts.
- Facilitate clear communication with management, department heads, and staff to ensure alignment on objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience preferred.
- Familiarity with the PEP reservation systems is a plus.
- High School degree or equivalent experience in sales or a related field required.
- Strong understanding of general sales techniques, revenue management principles, and customer service best practices.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Word and Excel, in a professional setting.
- Exceptional communication skills including email.
- Ability to analyze problems and make sound business decisions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities.
- High ethical standards and professionalism.
