We have an immediate opening for a Director of Global Sales in our Cooling Tower division.
Directs sales organization operations and develops tactics, operational plans, and processes to implement the organizational sales strategy, drive revenue growth and accomplish financial objectives. Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization’s operations. Oversees goal setting for departmental and group levels of the sales org and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Implements methods and systems to effectively analyze and monitor the industry, business environment, and competitors and expand the customer base. Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Essential Responsibilities
- Lead a global commercial team and drive profitable sales growth in alignment with Brentwood’s growth and profitability objectives.
- Develop and execute a commercial strategic and tactical plan in coordination with management growth vision and strategy.
- Expand sales in global markets supported by Brentwood’s global footprint.
- Drive constant customer feedback/VOC and develop strategies and value propositions to grow.
- Build relationships and manage existing sales channel partners and expand with new business partners.
- Various monthly and quarterly reporting as defined and required by executive management.
- Lead the data gathering and evaluation of market trends, competitor intelligence and emerging opportunities (regions/markets/applications) as a foundation for commercial and marketing strategy.
- Work with and through the corporate teams in R&D and Marketing, and at times take a direct leadership approach, to identify new customers, establish relationships, and develop/maintain business contracts.
- Manage and provide support, guidance, coaching, and mentoring skills for the commercial team.
- Recruit and acquire topflight talent.
- Capable in customer/business partner issue resolution, technical troubleshooting, and contract resolutions.
- Customer focused and entrepreneurial while maintaining the utmost integrity.
- 10 years of related sales and business development experience, ideally in the Cooling Tower or Mass Transfer industries.
- An undergraduate degree, preferably in engineering or a technical discipline.
- Top line and bottom-line growth driven with a tenacity and proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Direct involvement with the definition and implementation of strategic plans.
- Expert in building growth forecasts, managing a team to exceed targets, and executing the overall strategic and tactical plan.
- A self-starter with high energy and commitment to getting the job done and going the extra mile.
- Proven negotiating and influencing skills to bring closure to complex deals.
- Strong leadership, development, and mentoring skills for sales teams and always working to bring in topflight talent.
- Is team-focused and acts as a working manager.
- Driven and persistent personality with the ability to inspire others.
- Excellent oral communication skills including formal presentations and informal interactions with the ability to quickly build strong relationships.
- Must have experience in solution selling, on-site and hands on customer problem solving, and capital-intensive project implementation.
- Ability to interact, present, communicate, influence, and persuade decision makers at all levels of an organization. Value and consultative sales training preferred.
- Prove performance in solving complex sales processes by getting the right position with real decision makers.
- Demonstrable experience of building and sustaining B2B relationships in a demanding, service-orientated environment.
- Ability to identify and support commercial development of new product/service and market opportunities, to define appropriate offerings and to commercialize the offering and manage the sales approach through the product life cycle.
