Overview
We are searching for a passionate and dedicated Soccer Coach to join our team. This role involves educating and training players of all skill levels, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting the values of sportsmanship and teamwork. As a Soccer Coach, you will play a crucial role in developing athletes' skills while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
- Conduct individual and group tennis lessons, focusing on skill development, technique improvement, and game strategy.
- Educate players on the rules of soccer, etiquette, and sportsmanship.
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere during practices and competitions.
- Organize practice sessions, drills, and conditioning exercises to enhance players' physical fitness and performance.
- Monitor players' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their goals, both on the court and in the classroom.
- Recruit players within the NAIA guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Physical Education or other related program
- 3 years experience administering recreation or tennis program; experience as a collegiate coach and/or player preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire players
- Knowledge of tennis techniques, rules, and strategies
