About the Role: As a Housekeeping Assistant Supervisor at Brett/Robinson, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness of our facilities. Your primary objective is to maintain high standards of hygiene and ensure that all areas are clean and well-maintained.
">">- Main Responsibilities:
- Assign duties to housekeeping staff and conduct regular inspections to ensure they meet prescribed cleanliness standards
- Investigate any complaints regarding housekeeping services or equipment and take corrective action as necessary
- Maintain the inspection program and ensure it is consistently followed
- Create work assignments based on rooms to be cleaned immediately and prospective check-outs or discharges
- Recommend promotions, transfers, and dismissals of housekeeping staff
- Establish and maintain standards and procedures for housekeeping work
- Manage stock levels to ensure adequate supplies are available
- Distribute supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed
- Conduct weekly safety meetings with employees and verify attendance
- Provide ongoing in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and demonstrate equipment usage and maintenance
- Evaluate records to forecast department personnel requirements
- Attend staff meetings to discuss company policies and make recommendations for improved service and operational efficiency
- In emergency situations or instances of insufficient staffing, perform cleaning duties as required
- Prepare weekly payroll data
