Job Overview
As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Brett/Robinson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained across our residential properties. Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a representative of Brett/Robinson, demonstrating courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with colleagues, owners, guests, and community members.
• Prepare units for housekeepers by making beds, loading dishwashers, and removing soiled linens and trash.
• Identify and report broken or damaged furnishings or fixtures to supervisors and through a maintenance app.
• Complete inspection checklists in the housekeeping app on personal phones.
• Correct housekeeping issues in units prior to guest arrival.
• Instruct trainees by demonstrating and verbalizing effective housekeeping and inspector techniques.
• Identify housekeeping deficiencies among Housekeepers and Quality Attendants and retrain them with encouragement and tact.
• Use teaching techniques to guide and manage trainees during training, ensuring their success.
• Perform duties of a housekeeper as needed.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
Working Conditions
• Uniform apparel is required, fitting properly and being washed and pressed without holes.
• Maintain personal hygiene with a neat appearance, including conservative hair, makeup, jewelry, and fingernails.
• Work environment includes exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, and various cleaning products.
• Ability to work flexible hours, seven days a week according to seasonal needs.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are expected in accordance with company policy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• High School diploma required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, understand, and relay information effectively through positive communication, promoting teamwork.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of inspecting and evaluating product quality.
• Perform physical activities requiring whole-body movement, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and squatting, with considerable use of arms and legs, handling materials, and ability to lift 40 pounds regularly.
