A reputable hospital in Connecticut that specializes in behavioral health is searching for Registered Nurses to join its growing team! In this role, you will deliver compassionate care to patients who are experiencing acute mental health challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to adult patients experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms/behaviors.
- Gather and interpret data through history taking and physical assessments and plan interventions to meet patients’ needs.
- Document care provided and the patient’s progress toward desired outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about the care plan and how to manage their care after discharge.
- Administer medications to patients as needed/directed.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license.
- 1 years of Psych/Behavioral Health experience is required.
Additional info:
- Full-time, permanent position
- 36 hours/week, evenings and nights available
- Pay $34-50/hr. base, depending on experience, generous differentials.
