As a Parts Department Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have the parts and accessories they need for their RV and marine adventures. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver outstanding service, maintain inventory accuracy, and drive sales growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team – Recruit, train, and motivate a team of 10-20 employees to provide top-tier customer service and operational excellence.
- Drive Sales & Performance – Manage sales, marketing, and budgets for the department. Oversee daily sales reporting, process transactions, and maintain financial records.
- Ensure Inventory Accuracy – Conduct inventory counts, track stock levels, and collaborate with leadership to optimize cost-effective displays and sales strategies.
- Deliver Outstanding Customer Service – Address customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and professional resolutions. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
- Oversee Operations & Logistics – Schedule staff, manage day-to-day retail functions, and coordinate special events to boost sales and engagement.
- Other duties as assigned to support the success of the department.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in RV, automotive, heavy equipment, or a similar industry is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, coach, and motivate a team. Retail leadership experience is highly valued.
- Strong Business Acumen: Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and sales strategies.
- Customer-Focused Mindset: Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in spreadsheets, inventory management software, and POS systems.
Compensation:
- Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year (based on experience).
- Monday - Friday
- Saturdays as required

About Our Dealership
Bretz RV & Marine opened for business in Missoula, Montana, in 1967. Until then, Frank and Vi Bretz had been operating a service station and renting U-Hauls in central Missoula. A search for a new camping trailer ended up turning into a new business opportunity. Not only did the Bretz family get a new camper, they decided to get into the business of selling and renting small travel trailers.
Today Bretz RV & Marine is still a family-owned and operated business with five dealerships across Montana and Idaho. We are fortunate to have grown from just over 100 employees to nearly 400 employees in the last five years. We do all we can to offer our teams an excellent place to work and advance in our company. We start by finding great people with high energy and then find the best place for them to be successful in our dealerships.
