What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal RV Cleaner & Part-Time Service Porter position at Bretz RV & Marine?
Full-Time | Tuesday - Saturday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $17 - $19 per hour (DOE)
We are seeking a thorough, detail-oriented Seasonal RV Cleaner / Detailer & Part-Time Service Porter to join our team through September, with the potential to transition into a full-time, year-round position for the right candidate. We need someone with a can-do attitude who is willing to step in and help wherever needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Detailing:- Cean used boats, RVs, and vehicles inside and out before they are placed on the lot for sale.
- Operate pressure washers, air hoses, vacuums, brushes, and other cleaning equipment.
- Use and apply cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to enhance inventory appearance.
- Operate forklifts to move campers and other inventory around the lot. (Forklift experience is a plus, but training is available.)
- Assist with dealership cleaning, snow removal, and general upkeep.
- Support the service and sales teams with various tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help out in different areas.
- Attention to detail and ability to take pride in work.
- Reliability, motivation, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and cleaning.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform repetitive motions.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, and snow).
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other equipment after training.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in detailing, general maintenance, or a similar role is a plus.
- Forklift experience preferred.
