What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transport Driver position at Bretz RV & Marine?
Bretz RV & Marine is looking for responsible individuals to join our team as a transport driver. In this engaging role, you will need to be available to travel cross-country on behalf of the dealership. Your duties will include retrieving units for the company, inventory transfers between our dealerships, and the occasional customer delivery.
Responsibilities
- Responsibly drive RVs/Motorhomes as requested
- Tow RV's, Trailers, 5th wheels, Toy Haulers, and other recreational vehicles as requested
- Must be willing to travel by air or car to varied location across the US to retrieve inventory
- Must be able to pay for Fuel, Airfare, Hotel, and Meals during travel, will be reimbursed on a trip by trip basis.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean Driving Record
- Previous experience driving truck, flatbeds, 5th wheels, or Class A's preferred
- Previous transport experience a plus
- Must be willing and able to adhere to DOT standards.
- Pass a DOT medical exam
Compensation
- Compensation is paid on a semi-monthly basis
- Pay will vary from trip to trip and is based on a variety of factors including event, miles driven, and wait-times
Schedule
- The schedule is variable and will be on an "as-needed" basis

Bretz RV & Marine opened for business in Missoula, Montana, in 1967. Frank and Vi Bretz had been operating a service station and renting U-Hauls in central Missoula. A search for a new camping trailer ended up turning into a new business opportunity. Not only did the Bretz family get a new camper, they decided to get into the business of selling and renting small travel trailers.
Today Bretz RV & Marine is still a family-owned and operated business with five dealerships across Montana and Idaho. We are fortunate to have grown from just over 100 employees to nearly 400 employees in the last five years. We do all we can to offer our teams an excellent place to work and advance in our company.
