Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential vehicle maintenance services, primarily focusing on oil changes and tire services. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and demonstrate excellent customer service skills while ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and other routine maintenance services on various vehicles.
- Conduct tire services, including installation, rotation, and balancing.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assist in sales of automotive products and services as needed.
- Collaborate with service technicians to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues.
- Stay updated on automotive technology and best practices in vehicle maintenance.
Experience
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar automotive role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance procedures is a plus.
- Experience in a dealership setting is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- A proactive approach to learning new skills and techniques related to automotive care.
