THIS POSITION IS APPOINTIVE SERVICE

$18.52 to$20.37 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Beachside/Cocoa Beach. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m.Performs experienced paraprofessional work in maintaining and analyzing the accounts for the Tourism Development Office anddirecting the work of subordinate staff.

REQUIREMENTS:Two (2) years [60 semester or 90 quarter hours] of college-level credit with major coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related fieldPLUSone (1) year of experience in an accounting, full-charge bookkeeping system. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
