$18.52 to $20.37 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area/Cocoa. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Performs experienced technical work assisting in maintaining the inventory of the County's real and tangible property. Work includes identifying assets for tagging and inventory control, transferring and retiring assets in SAP or other asset management software application, and coordinating and monitoring the tag and title work for County-owned vehicles.
REQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree or two (2) years of college coursework in Business Administration, Accounting, or a closely related fieldPLUSone (1) year of experience in asset management, inventory and/or property control, capital fixed assets, accounting, finance, or a closely related fieldORthree (3) years of experience in asset management, inventory and/or property control, capital fixed assets, accounting, finance, or a closely related field. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. Must possess, or successfully complete within six (6) months of employment, an OSHA-compliance pallet stacker training course that meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.178 and be able to safely and effectively operate a pallet stacker. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
