$17.88 to $19.67 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South Area/Melbourne/Travels Countywide. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.Performs experienced service maintenance work operating moderately complex automotive vehicles and/or equipment and performing routine automotive service and maintenance. Work includes performing manual work in the construction of roads, drainage systems, and sidewalks.

REQUIREMENTS: One (1) year of experience operating moderately complex automotive vehicles and equipment, including a ten (10) wheel standard shift dump truck.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. This is heavy physical work performed outdoors and involves exposure to dirt, dust, noise, odors and fumes, insects, working in and around traffic and moving machinery, and extreme weather conditions. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
