21.84 to $24.02 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area / Rockledge / Timothy J. Mills Fire Rescue Center. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 7 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.Performs skilled professional work interviewing, investigating, monitoring, and providing counsel and guidance to defendants on pre-trial or diversion status and offenders who have been placed under supervision by the Courts.
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Public Administration, or a closely related field. Additional qualifying education and / or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. Must be able to successfully pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check administered by the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
