$1,942.03 to $2,136.23 biweekly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area/Rockledge/Travels Countywide. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and includes occasional evening and weekend hours as needed for hiring and recruitment activities. Performs experienced professional work coordinating recruiting activities and processes for Brevard County Fire Rescue. Work involves assisting the Fire-Rescue Department with identifying current and future hiring needs and attracting and developing strong candidate pools; attending job fairs and other recruitment activities; and establishing partnerships with local and regional educational institutions, staffing companies, and/or job posting organizations to assist with designing recruitment strategies, programs, and materials.
REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field PLUS one (1) year of professional personnel recruiting experience.Additional qualifying education and/or experiencemay be substituted on a year for year basis.Experience with recruitment strategies and the hiring process in a Fire Rescue or Public Safety environment is preferred.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
