$17.05 to $18.76 hourly.Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South Area. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Performs experienced paraprofessional work in organizing, supervising, and coordinating recreational programs and activities at a County recreational area or facility.
REQUIREMENTS: One (1) year of paid or volunteer experience in leisure activities. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Experience utilizing personal computers, including Microsoft Office Suite and Vermont Systems Rec-Trac, is preferred.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. The applicant will be disqualified from further consideration for the position if a Level I background criminal background investigation, performed in accordance with Brevard County Administrative Order 5 (AO-5), discloses the applicant has disqualifying convictions (as defined in AO-5). In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
